In the frames of the official visit to the Republic of Armenia the President of Russian Federation Mr. Dmitry Medvedev visited the Yerevan Brandy Company with the Armenian President Mr. Serge Sargsyan.
The presidents of the two countries were welcomed by Mr. Eric Laborde, General director of Pernod Ricard Eastern Europe and Mr. Cedric Retailleau, Managing director of Yerevan Brandy Company.
After a speech of introduction where Mr. Eric Laborde underlined the leading position of ArArAt in CIS countries and insisting on the Group policy regarding the responsible drinking, the Heads of the two states visited the Ageing cellar where they were introduced to the richest history and production facilities of the most premium Armenian brandy.
Being the head of the co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group (the organization which is engaged in the regulation process of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict) Mr. Medvedev left his signature in the memory book of the Peace Barrel, which being kept in the most sacred corner of YBC cellar will be open when the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be resolved.

As a part of tradition the heads of the Yerevan Brandy Company presented Mr. Medvedev with a barrel full of brandy spirit. “With this gift, Mr. Medvedev, you will have your permanent presidency in our cellar”, said Eric Laborde.
The managing director of Yerevan Brandy Company Mr. Cedric Retailleau presented the presidents of the two countries with 70 years old brandies “NOYAN TAPAN” from the exclusive collection of ARARAT range.
It is worth to mention that the Yerevan Brandy Company being the exclusive producer of ARARAT brandies exports 70 % of his products to Russian Federation.
